BOARD RULES
By becoming a member of this RPG, you have agreed to the rules as they are set by the administrators. All the rules are explained in this board, so that everyone knows what they entail. When you are posting, please keep the rules in mind so it’s fun to be a member for everyone and we can just do our job instead of playing cop. Organizing all things possible within a magical world is work enough one would think.
General Rules
One. Respect each other. Every member is here to enjoy himself. When interacting with each other in OOC section we assume that you will behave normally. You may differ in opinion or have discussion but don’t start fights.
Two. Don’t write in dialects. To keep the RPG understandable for everyone we ask you to write English. Most countries learn how to read, write and speak this language, so we ask you not to use any other language. We don’t expect perfection but if you know that your grammar isn’t that good, please use Word or another program that checks your grammer.
Three. Keep your privacy in mind. You can never be 100% sure that the person whom you are talking with is the actual person. When talking with someone in personal messages or a chatprogram, please be careful with your personal information. Meaning; Adresses, phonenumbers or other personal information. If your are approached by someone with the wrong intentions, please report this to someone of the staffmembers.
Four. No advertising. Although we do understand that you want to get your own site out there, we don’t want you advertising on random parts of the RPG. We offer the possibility to affiliate with us and the advertising board provides space to place your own advertisement. In turn we expect you to respect our request and don’t advertise via personal message or your signature.
Five. Don’t post pornographic content. We want to keep the RP readable for people of all ages. Which means that pornographic content isn’t allowed in both the IC and the OOC parts. We allow 15+ content, but only when there is a warning in the description. Please don’t forget this when you post content that isn’t for all ages.
12 + Snogging/clothed groping Mild violence, substance or self harm themes, but not visuals
15+ Snogging/Suggestive groping Moderate violence, substance or self harm, maybe with slight visual/graphic representation
17+ Nudity/sexual content Extreme violence substance or self harm themes. Graphic representation/visual. Think a detailed post about self harm, or rather detailed drug use or violence
Six. Multiple characters. You are very welcome to have multiple accounts but do keep in mind that you should be able to write with them all. It would be offensive towards others if you’d start a plotline with them but aren’t capable to finish it.

IC Rules
One. Don’t play God over another character. Playing God over another character is called Godmode and isn’t allowed without permission of said person. In an RPG it’s important that the player is allowed to decide what the character does. There are circumstances in which you are allowed to Godmode. When you are half a metre away from each other a spell can’t miss. When you’re slapping someone whilst already touching, that kind of thing. Always judge your own actions and when in doubt, ask for permission.
Two. 300 words. We have a mandatory word count of 300 words. It’s not that high, so we think you should be able to make it. We won’t scold you for having ten or twenty words less but it can be very annoying for some when they put a lot of effort into a post and get a response that is so short that responding to it is very difficult.
Three. Do not start slow chatting. When you are writing with multiple people in one thread, please give the others the time to respond. It can be very difficult to post in a topic when the others have moved on rather quickly.
Four. Age appropriate posts. Please keep the rule described in ‘General rules’ in mind when posting.
Five. Try to keep your posts realistic. We understand the realism is quite difficult when you’re playing in a World that is entirely fictive. But do remind yourself that some things are just not possible, even in J.K Rowlings world. Could you conjur a Patronus at age eleven? Or fall in love with someone so deeply within three posts that you are inseparable? Realism within a story is what makes it even more fun to read, so do try to keep your posts as realistic as possible.
Six. Mary Sue/Gary Stue. Nobody is perfect en no one is just a bad person. When writing a character, it’s important to give him or her a definitive character but one in which you have room to maneuver. If you know, for yourself, every good and bad side of your character its far more fun to write with that character. For others it’s more fun to respond to your character. So try not to make your character to perfect, nor to much of a failure.
Seven. Third person. On this RPG we write in the third person, past sentence. Dit means it will either be ‘he’ of ‘she’ when you write. That way it’s far more easier to respond to the posts that way. If done correctly it will seem like a coherent story.

Graphic Rules
One. Avatars. The usage of a avatar is allowed. This may be a still shot or a moving images. The one thing we do ask is that it is an image of your characters, other images would be confusing. The set height for an avatar is 170x170
Two. Signature. Usage of a signature is free to all. We have no set height but do remind people that this is an RPG. Don’t make your signature so big that it will hinder the reading. A link to your application would be more than welcome.
Three. Posting of pictures/movies. Posting of images and movies is only allowed in OOC sections. The content of said image of movie should be in agreement to the general rules of Enter Hogwarts V2

C-Box Rules
One. Don’t advertise. It’s not allowed to place links in the shoutbox that lead to other sites. We provide the possibility to affiliate. If there were to be advertisements in the shoutbox that member will no longer be permitted to use it.
Two. No cursing. The general rules are in effect in the shoutbox as well. So just mind your language, cursing will get you nowhere. Just like insulting or making rasist comments. The shoutbox is an OOC section of the RPG.
Three. No flooding. Don’t flood the shoutbox, not by saying the same thing over and over again and not by having conversations with yourself either. No one will like it and upon happening the person responsible will get denied entrance to the shoutbox.
